About Us

The Swan Hotel in Staines sits gracefully on the Thames, offering tranquil river views, traditional and modern pub food, plush accommodation and delicious drinks. Built in the 16th century, we’ve recently renovated the pub to a stunning standard, and our gorgeous garden and cosy interior make us an ideal spot for watching life on the river go by, whatever the weather.

With London under an hour away by train from nearby Staines railway station, we’re in a peaceful spot that’s never too far from the hustle and bustle of the city, making us a brilliant base for a relaxing mini break or family holiday.

Eating and drinking

The food served in The Swan Hotel offers plenty of choice for those looking for the perfect pub lunch by the Thames. Because we know that sometimes, you want something a little bit different, we offer menus to suit every taste.

Our hearty brunches include a full or veggie English, eggs Benedict and breakfast waffles. We’ve got chunky sandwiches served with fries for a quick lunch, and a children’s menu for little hands and appetites. And of course, we offer a fabulous Sunday roast with all the trimmings for our weekend guests.

Head to the bar and you’ll find fantastic choice there too, from beers on tap (including the much-loved London Pride) and a rotating selection of seasonal ales, to our extensive wine list. Our stylish Indulgence room boasts panoramic riverside views, while our Comfy rooms offer plenty of space to spread out and relax in. Our Family room sleeps four, and is an ideal choice for families visiting nearby Thorpe Park.
